In keeping with The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions’ (SCAI) mission to promote excellence in invasive and interventional cardiovascular medicine through physician education and professional development, SCAI recently launched SCAI Women in Innovations (WIN). WIN is a world-wide effort devoted to improving the overall approach to the medical treatment of women with cardiovascular disease, as well as increasing the quality and scope of professional and educational opportunities offered to female interventional cardiologists.
